I forgot that Dallas traded their extra 1st (from GB) in ‘27 for Quinnen Williams, so the Micah trade essentially ended up being.
Packers
- Micah Parsons
Dallas
- Kenny Clark
- Quinnen Williams
- Malachi Lawrence
Honestly? If I’m Dallas, I’d rather have what they got and if I’m GB, I’m happy with Micah. A very rare, win-win trade.
@georgetray3@nflrums@Daily_MailUS Not sure about Tucker, but moore had an affair with a subordinate. People truly try to find ways to make things about race.
@nflrums@Daily_MailUS You mean he is not being fired? And people say there aren't two sets of standards for white and black coaches. Tucker and Moore get fired right away. No if, and or buts but this dude gets to decide if he wants to stay or not. SMH. Even Russini had to go.
🚨🚨#Cowboys Micah Parsons to #Packers Trade Complete:
Packers get
DE Micah Parsons
Cowboys get
DT Kenny Clark
DT Quinnen Williams
DE Malachi Lawrence (2026 pick)
CB Devin Moore (2026 pick)
Overton (2026 pick)
@michael_p77@DannyPhantom24@cynnamon1984 People really dont understand the cap and how easily its manipulated. Right now this yr micah cap hit is only 7m more than kenny Clark. Next yr its 26 compared to clarks 22m. Jerry is making solid moves it doesnt make up for trading a top 2 edge of the decade for a bargain.
Tell me then - how would you pay George Pickens, Javonte Williams + signings like Jake Ferguson & Turpin, which all happened after Micah left & account for the “increased annual cost”. All above are players that the cowboys may have not been able to afford with Micah on the roster.
Without even taking consideration of the draft picks + Caleb Downs, Micah was the best thing for the Cowboys, easily.
Y’all just hate. Jerry has been cooking.
The book on the Micah Parsons trade is officially closed.
Packers get:
Micah Parsons
Cowboys get:
Kenny Clark
Quinnen Williams
Malachi Lawrence
Devin Moore
LT Overton
*The Cowboys also gave up a 2nd rounder to get Quinnen and take on an increased annual cost of $7.5 million.
@PolymarketBlitz Pickens only has a year left on his contract and the titans aren’t quite “win now” extension throwers for Pickens. They’d be better off rebuilding cheaper.
@ShamsCharania Aka, we didn’t listen to the black people and we listened to a non black player who never played for the Hawks or under stand Atlanta culture
Statement from NBA commissioner Adam Silver: “When we became aware of the Atlanta Hawks’ scheduled promotion, we reached out to Hawks leadership to better understand their plans and rationale. While we appreciate the team’s perspective and their desire to move forward, we have heard significant concerns from a broad array of league stakeholders, including fans, partners and employees. I believe canceling this promotion is the right decision for the broader NBA community.”
