@thegoblinzonemi Idk I think there's a lot of stories that just can't be told/made elsewhere, stuff like the outer wilds just wouldn't work as a book or movie. games can be an art form and while gameplay obviously does matter, storytelling can too. it just depends on the game I think

@brinkframe Ive indeed played silent hill 1 and 2 (in the 2000s) as well as many smaller indie games with imo significantly more intricate and compelling stories and have always found imo video games are more fun with out them becuase I primarily care about game play over all else
