@moonchildiana @bamshookycel I was at terminal 4 a few days ago and it was hell on earth. TSA precheck lines wrapped all the way around to the entrance of the airport. I have touchless ID and usually that has no line at all and even that was a 15 minute wait

@im2old4thisotp I wanted to post all this yesterday but it felt harsh since a lot of the people impacted by this were my friends. And it’s not necessarily about attractiveness- certain clothing colors don’t read well on camera or dont match the look the director wants! It sucks but it’s standard

Celebrities are not therapists. They don’t have the training to be able to deal with hearing about trauma over and over, day after day. Stop putting them through that.

Hearing about 1 person’s trauma is tolerable, but it’s never just 1 person, it’s many, sometimes every single day. And it’s not just at signings- fans will approach them on the street to share their story. So even if you prepare for a signing, you can never prepare for an ambush

For years I’ve been concerned about celebrities at fan signings (esp ones who have gone thru trauma themselves), bc people always trauma dump on them. I think most people don’t realize that they’re not the only one doing it- that celebrity has to listen to horrors over and over

I was having this convo a few months ago with a friend, I forgot about which celebrity but we were discussing how we always found it weird how fans found it normal to trauma dump to celebrity at signings or public events. Stop it. Celebrities are not your support system. 😭
