A lot of people are hating on La Taq or saying it’s for tourists… Couldn’t be further from the truth. La Taqueria is the best burrito in SF.
Notable: it isn’t a mission-style burrito! It doesn’t have rice, which is a superior format others should copy.

That's interesting, because from my vantage point air travel is mostly getting better. Airport food at SFO has gotten really great. Baggage services don't lose my bag anymore. Boarding is a lot smoother. Check-in and bag drop are so much easier. Airport seats more comfy, etc.

Check out the Tenement Museum there- it’s super cool to see what immigrant life was like a century ago. Tiny rooms, sewing machines in living rooms, whole families packed into studio sized apartments.

Half a million mostly Jews and Italians crammed into tenements, 7x as many as today.
Living rooms doubled as garment factories; 20% of the world’s clothing came out of this tiny neighborhood.
