I'll be slowly closing down our stores today, but our Etsy store will stay up for the time being, with the pieces that are ready to ship reduced to cost price. We'll also be posting a longer statement on our website and on other social media. Thank you, everyone 💚 - Jen

With that in mind, I've decided to cease trading as brm. This has been a hard decision but really, one which has been a long time coming. I'm very grateful and thankful for the community, particularly here on twitter, for welcoming me and brm and supporting the brand.

It's taken a toll on my mental health, and too often it's seemed like too big a mountain to climb. This year I turn 30, and have been re-assessing what makes me happy, and where I want to be in my life.

I've had a long think over the Christmas break, about the future of brm. I've been working on this brand for a couple of years now, totally self funded, and it's taken a lot of time, energy, and cash to get to the modest position we are in.
