@chadjourn @TopTierArkansas Me and @catchblockthrow met him in 96 his last year at ND. His secretary said we were one of the only meetings he didn't cancel after he announced his retirement. Much respect! Great guy to just sit and talk.

@TopTierArkansas He talked to me and a friend for 20 minutes in 1991 at the Greensboro PGA golf event about how much he loved coaching at NC State in the 70s. Nicest man.
