there’s just something so tragic and sinister about lily’s portrait in the manga. the anime version focused more on fanservice as usual, but in the manga, oda’s use of lines in her expression gives off a very sad and lonely vibe… imu must be carrying a lot of regrets.

@AdamantineW Sad that manhwa didn't show enough of Alb's emotions and self-reflection regarding his relationship with Nora. I want to see Alb “suffer” the consequences of the bad relationship with Nora which he himself ruined. Manhwa made it seem too easy for Alb and Heidi to side with Nora

mind you, albrecht set up the stage for a civil war with the church after they touched nora, and with the purpose of compromising the imperials' power as punishment for theo 😭 he meant every word when he said he'd react about losing nora as nora would if he lost shuri 🥹
