A clean sheet & away point is decent. But, yesterday showed why @granthamtownfc will not win the league. Lacked any real quality, 2nd to the ball, not much creativity to break down a good @BlackstonesFC defence & no cutting edge up top.Need to turn those type of games into wins.

@RetroGTFC @Callum_Boyle_ I stayed in Colchester for 4 years from Monday to Friday with work. Never met anyone who supported them, or who had ever been to see them. It’s a real place alright, but not recommended and best avoided if possible.

@RetroGTFC At step 5 there are usually a couple of teams who run away with the league and battle it out between them (see Cobham CCsPS). Outstanding that we can still win the league, but so can 2 or 3 others. Mansfield, Sherwood and Newark tough games, but all winnable.

When you are in March & still have a shot at the title you have to beat what is put in front of you. Today we did, against a poor N&S team but you have to win these games. Professional job done & great support as always. My MOTM was Abdul who looks a really decent player. 🍒🍒🍒
