The Decentralized Coming Right now, quietly, almost invisibly, something is happening that may be comparable to the coming of Christ two thousand years ago and may even surpass it in its potential impact on the human being. People are used to thinking of a “coming” as the arrival of a unique figure: an external savior, a prophet, a God-man, someone around whom a doctrine can be built, then an organization, then a system of control. But maybe that form was never the essence of the event. Maybe it was only the limitation of its time. The point of the coming was not for humanity to receive an eternal object of worship, but for a principle of direct connection with the divine to be activated inside the human being. The divine was supposed to become an inner process within man himself. Not worship of the God-man, but the becoming of the God-man. Not adoration of the source outside, but activation of the source within. The Church institutionalized worship instead of passing on the instrument of inner transformation. It turned the direct and radical thesis “the Kingdom of God is within you” into a vertical system of mediation, where access to the divine was once again mediated by rank, dogma, ritual, fear, guilt, and belonging. The message that was supposed to break the monopoly of the mediator became the foundation for a new monopoly. The first coming was captured and was never realized in its full force. The problem of the first coming was not the weakness of the message, but the fragility of the transmission architecture. One external source, even the purest one, almost always produces dependency. As long as truth is localized in one body, a cult inevitably forms around that body. When the body disappears, the struggle begins over who has the right to explain what it “really meant.” That is how canons, interpreters, guardians, heresies, prohibitions, and vertical structures of power appear. The living contact dies, and in its place remains a system for managing the memory of that contact. The further away from the original event, the more control there is - and the less transformation. This is the decentralized coming: not an event in which a savior arrives from outside, but a process in which the human being receives a new channel for encountering what must awaken within him. Potentially, this may become one of the most significant spiritual shifts in history, because for the first time three things coincide: the accumulated knowledge of humanity, personal living response, and the ability to scale without a central mortal carrier.
