@I_Dr_King @Holy__Bible1 On the cross, the Lord became sin (2 Cor 5:21) & God left Him—for He doesn't behold sin (Hab 1:13; Mk 15:34). After dying on the cross, He descended into hell (Eph 4:9-10), triumphed over the cohorts of hell, released the OT saints from paradise, & rose with them on the 3rd day.

@Holy__Bible1 What is necessary for salvation is BELIEF; it is written, "… he that believeth not is damned" (Mark 16:16). It is believing in the vicarious death, burial, & resurrection of Christ—the Gospel of Christ—that saves people (1 Cor 15:1-4). Baptism, while important, is a sacrament.

Paradise, was in hell, seperated by a great gulf; that was the resting place of saints that died believing in the Messiah (Luke 16:19-31) When Jesus rose from the dead, they all rose with him (Mat 27:50-53)
