@polypearIs Him hunting for fish in his worse moments, he had to survive in the woods, and, if you are in a terrible mental state, you’ll usually go back to your comfort foods (he loved fish pizza for example)

@polypearIs lol that was mostly a joke! Being vegetarian isnt bad but for someone like Steven who’s comfort foods were made up of a lot of meat, that can contribute to his worsening state.

This episode feels like a metaphor for preteens going through physical changes during puberty, and getting gross inappropriate attention that ends up causing them discomfort in their own bodies.

@hitmann7908 @a0puncfan @browhatabitch As opposed to what? Garnet’s Jasper fight? That whole thing was a waste of time outside of the song, and half of the song was just vocalizations. The Spinel fight had good animation, but was choreographed poorly and had the gems unbelievably bad at fighting for no reason.

Peridot mentioned that she was made that way from lack of resources (she can’t even shape shift)
