Norway were clearly robbed. If that is a foul on Erling, there should be a penalty awarded in every single Premier League match. Turpin and the rest of his officiating team should go home and be ashamed of themselves. And that is without even mentioning England’s equaliser, which clearly should have been disallowed after the ball struck a camera cable. With around 50 cameras covering the match, as well as VAR, how can something like this happen at this level, in a World Cup quarter-final? Every 50/50 decision went England’s way. Frighteningly poor refereeing decisions throughout this World Cup.
