There's always time to rhyme! Great to welcome back former pupil and children's author; always-early, pearly, whirly, twirly, swirly, Su Murley to our hurly-burly! Thank you Su for your visit👍🙏
Positive Affirmation Station in Year 1. We created our own station with a mirror so we can remind ourselves how awesome we all are. I am strong, I am brave, I am brilliant, I am fabulous, I am kind……the list is endless!
Year 6 had a fantastic day at the Houses of Parliament. We’re now ready to write our own political leaflets and speeches. Do you think we’d do a good job running the country?

Early years are learning the quietness and calmness with us.
To mark Black History Month, with a nod to National Poetry Day, Year 6 wrote poems about people who are Black or Mixed Race who have inspired them or made a positive contribution to society.
Our Choir loved singing at St Alban's Cathedral today. It was wonderful to join our St Alban's Diocesan family and enjoy worshipping at the Harvest service. Well done Choir. Thank you to all who attended.
Year 1 had a special visitor from Jubilee Church today. Vicky told us the story of Zacchaeus. We thought about what it teaches us about God. God is colourful. God is everywhere. God is love. We then created some art to show our ideas.
It was such a treat to be visited by our returning Year 7s today. They looked so grown up in their uniforms and are happy and excited about their new schools.
We’re proud to have prepared them well for this next step.
On Friday, we welcomed the last group of our EY1 children to join our school.
With that final piece of the puzzle, we are now a complete school. We can’t wait to make wonderful memories with all of our children.
Today, we say goodbye to a wonderful, kind, brave group of Year 6 children who have the brightest of futures ahead of them.
Go well Year 6; we’re so proud of you.
As part of our RSE learning, we have been talking about different types of families. This Pride month, and always, we remember that love is love and hope that everyone knows they will always be valued, supported and loved in our school.
