Everything you wrote is a mix of half-truths and outright fantasy. The Balkans were never some peaceful fairytale before the Ottomans…medieval states in the region were constantly at war, raiding, and fighting each other long before any Ottoman army showed up. That ‘we all lived in love and peace’ line is pure fiction. Yes, the devshirme system was coercive…no one serious denies that. But reducing centuries of Ottoman rule to nothing but ‘kidnapping and forced conversion’ just shows you don’t understand the period at all. Millions of Christians lived, kept their religion, and even held influence within that system. And invoking ‘ethnic cleansing’ like it was invented by one side is especially dishonest. The Balkans have a long, complicated history of violence from multiple actors. If you want to talk about modern history, Serb forces themselves carried out well-documented ethnic cleansing and genocide in the 1990s. You don’t get to ignore that while pretending moral superiority. This isn’t history…it’s nationalist propaganda dressed up as facts. If you’re going to make claims like this, at least have the honesty to acknowledge the full picture instead of repeating myths….

Ottoman turks introduced ethnic cleansing to the Balkans. Before that, Serbs and Bosnians lived in love and peace, even fought side by side against you.

Turks didn’t start in Anatolia…our history runs from Central Asia through Göktürks (552–745), Seljuks (1040–1157), and Ottomans (1299–1922). And that image?
