I love baseball cards. Always looking for 1953 Topps. Brewers PC.

@brucrew7 @TPlehn20 @VinnysCorner1 If you believe they should be higher because their numbers didn’t encapsulate the impact that’s fine with me. I don’t care enough to argue one way or the other.
Unlike you, I’m not here to make this a Wisconsin-centric conversation.
English

@JoshYunker @rmcgill25 @VinnysCorner1 I mean JT had 6100 in 3 years at a p5 school. How would he be number 1?
English

@rmcgill25 @VinnysCorner1 Only problem is his conference. It’s basically a tackling is optional conference. If he would have did that at a P5 school he’d be 1
English

@barryisthedon @VinnysCorner1 Or PJ hILl. all these casuals focus on house names. we’ll focus on running back university
English

@imperialstanda @TPlehn20 @VinnysCorner1 By your logic Montee Ball and Melvin Gordon should both be higher. They were on the same team along with James White.
English

@TPlehn20 @VinnysCorner1 Lendale white being so great is what held Bush’s numbers back. Everyone agreed Bush was the better player. I don’t think you should punish players for having great teammates
English

@BrewPack8 It’s almost like the front office knows what they’re doing or something.
English

@GoBlueVL @JonRothstein Not every team has Mara defending the paint.

Michigan advances in a classic in Chicago over Wisconsin.
But I would want NO PART of the Badgers next week --- NONE!
Jon Rothstein@JonRothstein
Michigan by split decision.

HALFTIME: Wisconsin 51, No.10 Michigan State 34
Spartans have no answer for Nick Boyd, who has 20, or for UW's defense. #Badgers hold Sparty to 10-for-32 from the floor.
The only thing that didn't go right for them is UW missed three free throws.

@BigShowUBS @Hutz39063656 @Brewers How can you throw the Nats in there? They are the 6th largest market in baseball as of July 1, 2022.
English

@brucrew7 @Hutz39063656 @Brewers Furthermore, yes ‘03 Marlins, ‘15 Royals, ‘19 Nats are my constant case studies. Guess what each of those teams had in common? Small market, minimal monies spent on average AND caught lightning in a bottle. I hate the fact we have to rely on catching lightning in a bottle.
English

@BigShowUBS @Hutz39063656 @Brewers Maybe there is a reason why every owner has been the same. Because they are in the smallest market. They don’t have the $$ but still have sustained success. No championships though. But what other small market team has? The Royals in 2015? Before that the Marlins in 2003?
English

@Hutz39063656 @Brewers Every owner has been the same. Spend low. Hope to win. Baseball was also vastly different in those years. Winning seasons like 87, 88, 92 didn’t even produce a playoff birth. Made it seem worse than it was. Ownership is the issue. Matt Arnold is a genius. There’s a difference.
English

@harrydoyle_ @Nehmer4Life @circusmonkey13 @JeffPassan I think he’s talking about Andrew Fischer. He was named the top third base prospect by baseball America earlier this winter.
English

@Peter_Bukowski Did you know that the Brewers have played in 2 meaningless games since the start of the 2017 season? Operating this exact same way? Would it be nice to keep some of these guys? Of course. But I’m not going to panic becuse they didnt keep the guy tha can barely go 5 innings.
English

@JohnnyGiunta_ So pathetic they’ve played a total of two meaningless games since the start of the 2017 season.
English

@greenbay_GOP @DannoHolland37 @BrewersRaptor They couldn’t run it. So they abandon it because that’s what LaFleur does. They ran it 7 times for 6 yards in the second half. They had gains if -2, 1, 6, 0, 1, 0, and 0. The line got bullied by the Bears front and LaFleur didn’t make any adjustments.
English

@brucrew7 @DannoHolland37 @BrewersRaptor The whole staff needs to go I agree. We only ran the ball 3 times in the 3rd quarter. We didn’t run the ball not we couldn’t run the ball it’s different. Love lost that game just as much as anyone else.
English

Narrator: people could not come together
John Egan@BrewersRaptor
As Packers fans I really hope we can come together and agree that Jordan Love is not the problem
English

@greenbay_GOP @DannoHolland37 @BrewersRaptor Blaming that loss on him is ridiculous. Don’t worry about the defense giving up 25 points in the 4th quarter. Or McManus missing 2 fgs and an extra point. Or special teams. Or no running game whatsoever in the second half. Your blame is misplaced.
English

@brucrew7 @DannoHolland37 @BrewersRaptor It’s not like that money doesn’t still exist with him here. He can’t win important games. First round exits where he pisses the game down his leg can only go on for so long. Move on and get talent for the next guy.
English

@greenbay_GOP @DannoHolland37 @BrewersRaptor And where would this money come from? The projected dead money would be over $50 million if they traded him.
English

@brucrew7 @DannoHolland37 @BrewersRaptor Gets rid of him. And gives more talent around Willis. Love can’t win anyways so we might as well try to put talent around another player.
English

@greenbay_GOP @DannoHolland37 @BrewersRaptor Just curious if you can share your ball knowledge of what the dead cap hit would be if they got rid of Love?
English

@DannoHolland37 @BrewersRaptor Should be the opinion of anyone with any ball knowledge fyi
English

Sadly... I can't imagine Matt LaFleur survives to coach another game for the Packers.
If indeed he is out... he won't be unemployed for more than a minute or two.
