It wouldn't be 4x weak to ice, it would be 2x weak to rock, flying, ice, dragon AND fairy.
The only gain would be being hit neutrally by fire, and some of dragon's resistances.
Pokemon live or die from their stats, abilities and moves so who knows, but as a type combo it's already an uphill battle.
