@CyclingForMind Should have moved lanes after 2 or 3 seconds, you had ample time. You choose to wait till the car is almost upon you.

@WillieOrwonte_ The other lane I assume you're talking about is the oncoming lane. It's not a one-way road.
English

@brisbanecityqld Looking at Google street view, it was attached to the school zone sign but that sign no longer exists

English

@brisbanecityqld is Stanley St between Wellington Rd and Jurgens St (Woolloongabba) supposed to be a clearway? It used to be but now there's only an End Clearway sign and no start. When drivers stop along here it causes merging chaos.

English

@brisbanecityqld Tree obstructing bike lane at 832 Wynnum Rd, Cannon Hill (near Derringer St).
This is a busy 70 km/h road and merging around it is unsafe.

@Smutteh Wouldn't firing someone because they didn't answer an out of office hours call be grounds for wrongful dismissal anyway? Genuine question
English

@brisbanecityqld The flashing no-left-turn sign on the far (west) side of Stanley St & Leopard St Woolloongabba sometimes doesn't work. It was working again a few minutes later so it seems intermittent.

Day 2 & 3 of reporting every illegal turner at the Stanley St on-ramp for QLD #RoadSafety Week
English

@bruisedchickpea @jackietrad It looks like this was a former left turn which has been permanently removed?
though I have noticed a lot of drivers disregard red arrows for leading ped cycles generally, to varying degrees
English

@bruisedchickpea @UnwalkableBris1 @jackietrad That cycle path is a death trap, there’s another danger spot just down the road where cars turn from Stanley St in Ipswich Rd
English

@brisbanecityqld multiple flex posts broken/flattened on bikeway divider on SE corner of Stanley St and Ipswich Rd Woolloongabba

English

@EwNYC12Rod @Boenau 1. Not a freeway
2. The finger was directed at Trump's motorcade
English

@Aylmer51 @CampaignCycling @willbramhill @EPRoadsPolicing You can see it in the top left corner, and it's also on the exact same cycle as the main light ahead.
English

@CampaignCycling @willbramhill @EPRoadsPolicing That may well be appropriate - it's hard to tell without seeing the other traffic light.
English

Kinda unbelievable that they think this is appropriate.
There is no parking behind this white car so it could easily be put there.

@brisbanecityqld @CoxyJindas This was still there a hour ago, and another one on the other side of the road. These really need to be removed before morning peak. Sylvan Road is a major cycling corridor and this is a serious safety issue.
English

@CoxyJindas Hi Chris, thanks for bringing this to our attention. I’ve submitted and escalated a request to have this investigated as a priority. – Kellie.
English

@LdnMillwall @n00dles71 @theJeremyVine Probably the person that can't see it's clearly closed and under construction.
English

@n00dles71 @theJeremyVine There is a cycle lane for you to use and you chose not to use it. Who’s the idiot?
English

This tragedy should be compulsory reading for anyone who says cyclists are over-sensitive about bin lorries that park in cycle lanes

This morning. The cyclist in front of me has a proper "falling down" moment over the way the same truck blocks his path every morning.
