In Gaza Palestinians, who escape the murder spree of the Zionist military, are forced to drink unclean or salty water, or go thirsty. Meanwhile only a few miles away, members of the genocidal occupation forces bathe in a swimming pool in the occupied Naqab desert (called the Negev by the Zionists), paid for by donations from a British charity. The pool was opened in late 2021 with a “a performance ... from the Israel National Artistic Swimming Team." The organisation that collects and sends the money to the occupation forces is called the UK Friends of the Association for the Wellbeing of Israel's Soldiers. (Registered Charity No. 1084272) The sheer barbarism of the activities of UK AWIS is horrific enough. But the fact that this charity gets tax relief and is allowed to operate in the UK is worse. Please write to the Charity Commission asking them 1. To examine whether UK AWIS is fulfilling its charitable objectives; 2. Whether it provides "public benefit" and whether this is outweighed by the obvious harm that the IDF is being enabled and supported to do by the charity. 3.
