“Somebody shorted the oil markets today by hundreds of millions of dollars exactly 20 minutes before Trump made his announcement that everything was going to be great. And if you see that once, it could be a coincidence. But that’s happened at least three times, if not more, since the war began. That’s a pattern.” “And what that suggests is that there’s rampant corruption and insider self-dealing going on with the president’s up and down predictions of what’s going to happen tomorrow in the negotiations and in the markets. And I’m sure that that’s being investigated. We can’t prove it, but it seems like the corruption that we’re seeing in our government, maybe not the President, but people who are in the know and the markets, is having a priority over the actual negotiations to end the war. And that’s a crazy thing that our system has never seen before.”

@brusil @Osinttechnical Biden and Obama made decisions I agreed with, even if I didn’t always agree. I can admit that. Everybody seems to approach political discussions with the assumption that they are infallibly right. There’s no objectivity. Trump has done plenty of things I disagree with.

@brusil @Osinttechnical I don’t know you and can’t speak to that. If you go into everything thinking about only yourself and you go into everything hating Trump, then what can I say that will honestly shift your opinion? You don’t actually want me to answer you. You just want me to admit you’re right.

@Osinttechnical It’s very interesting to see that this OSINT account has generally negative comments about Trump. Seems like there is an agenda going here. Also, is everybody willfully ignoring the fact that ships have been transitting with AIS off or is everybody just stupid?

Reporter: Did you post that picture of yourself depicted as Jesus Christ? Trump: It wasn't a depiction. I did post it and I thought it was me as a doctor. And had to do with red cross as a red cross worker, which we support and only the fake news could come up with that one.

Most people walk past this Victorian bandstand on Revere Beach without a second glance. They shouldn’t. It’s worth a look. In 1896 Revere Beach became America’s first public beach and this structure was built in 1897. The details are stunning. Cast iron columns. Ornate scrollwork arches. An octagonal shingled roof. A lyre finial at the crown. This was not for pure decoration. It was a statement. The bandstand was deliberate civic architecture. It showcased how beauty belonged to everyone. Not just to the wealthy. It was intended so that the public - the working-class public - experienced and owned the beauty. The ironwork itself is telling. The scrolling arches are not necessary, structurally. Someone chose them. The contract was awarded in March 1897 to builder W.T. Eaton. By September the damn thing was standing. And it’s still standing. 125+ years of storms, salt water, salt air, urban decline, urban revitalization, multiple economic booms/busts, and the bandstand is still on the boulevard. Even the lyre is intact. Society used to build public structures this way and occasionally, they survive.

We heavily regulate these historic neighborhoods down to what color you can paint the window trim but imagine the backlash if you proposed building the same thing today. 📍South End, Boston

I love Boston. As a fourth-generation guy from Eastie, I’ll always hold that affinity. The demographics have changed — that’s okay. I’ll always steward my city, but I’m so sad at see the current state of its political landscape. The city is in severe trouble.

@gp_juist @Osinttechnical I don’t put it past him at all. It’s just insane to have the country and world in this position and he’s dragging it out either for ego or because the exit strategy (as we all know) doesn’t exist.

@brusil @Osinttechnical Well, he just sent a massive Air Force strike group over the Atlantic. I think he’ll do it, he’s just desperate for an off ramp where he can still save face, as this entire thing is about his ego.

🚨MA Sen. Sean Maguire files S.4012, the "Nonconforming Conformity Act." The bill would make Massachusetts legal to build in Massachusetts again. Towns would calculate what they actually built before zoning existed, lot sizes, setbacks, density, and make that the new baseline.

@JenniferNassour Finance has played a fairly big role in the economy and engineering overall. The diversity of industry in MA has been a key player in establishing itself as nearly immune to downturns. However, when 3 of the major industries are under attack, that is a lot of pressure.

This is one of those articles that people should actually read start to finish!!! Companies leaving. Residents leaving. Colleges closing. Hospitals struggling. Federal funding shifting elsewhere. At some point, this stops being a collection of headlines and starts becoming a pattern. Massachusetts has always relied on a few key strengths: higher ed, healthcare, and biotech. If all three are under pressure at the same time, that’s not a normal cycle. That’s something bigger. bostonmagazine.com/news/2026/03/2…
