Sprint & Points Jersey Option – Arnaud De Lie Initially not even expected to ride the Giro, De Lie brings a very different profile: explosive sprinting power combined with the ability to survive rolling and punchy terrain. His recent win at the Famenne Ardenne Classic showed he is competitive even if his spring classics campaign overall was below expectations. However he is expected to dnf around stage 10 and he got recently sick due to 🐮💩, a sickness that made his colleague Liam Slock to drop off from the team. Joker Role – Simone Gualdi One of the most interesting riders in this squad is Simone Gulasi, a genuine wildcard for breakaways and transitional stages. Gualdi has had a strong season overall and looks well suited to the Giro’s middle mountain and rolling stages.
