I know the lab works because if I configure IPv6 BSR and send to a non-embedded multicast group, I get replies. I hate to cry bug, but I'm just not sure what I could be doing wrong with it.

I've been fighting with an IPv6 Embedded RP multicast lab. The LHR resolves/sends the PIM Join to the right RP address. The FHR sees the correct RP address from the multicast group and says Registering. The RPFs look good. But a packet capture shows no PIM Register from the FHR.

@LasVegasBuckeye Another reality is that due to their physiology healthy young people experience sudden heart failure while playing sports. It’s very difficult to detect/predict which young people will be affected but no one ever suggests that we prevent young people from playing sports.

The reality about vaccines is that there is a small percentage of people, due to their physiology, will suffer a serious vaccine injury, including the possibility of death. However, the other 99+% of the population will not suffer an injury.

@juangolbez Our career descriptions are nearly identical except for my college degree in Psychology. It was important at a point in time but short of a conversation piece my degree is of little value.

So I am a network architect with 10+ years of experience and a R/S CCIE but never had a college degree. What would be the logical next step in career progression?

@hfpreston There are a number of container applications that can be run at the edge of the network. iPerf. Lightweight IPAM. Various performance monitoring tools. Of course a full ThousandEyes Enterprise Agent.
