Blount has never really worked out on the west coast - furthest west was at Colorado State. Really interesting outside the box hire by San Diego AD Kimya Massey - who met with Blount yesterday. But Blount is one of the best assistant coaches in the country. Has been a huge part of Iowa State's success.
