@angel_elixir What better interview is there than doing the job? If he makes the Champions League he should get a 1 year contract. If it doesn't work, so be it.

The funny thing here is when Ten Haag was sacked , this board did their due diligence. Interviewed couple of coaches, Tuchel, Xavi, and ended up with Amorim also because the other two were not really ready for the job.
Now, a former United player comes in get a couple of wins and they are not actively even looking to interview others. They just want to hand over the job to Carrick. Just like that. At least have a couple and if you still end up convinced he is the one , you go with it , but NO.
It may not be today , not tomorrow, but as a club we will learn one day. Something bad must happen to this club for it to wake up. We are just not ready yet.

Officiating did cost us a win but beyond that we created next to nothing from open play again against a terrible Bournemouth side. Sesko needs to start because that front 3 doesn't work

@Mike87_United He shouldn't be giving his tactics in press conferences. That was another of Amorims flaws and the reason opposition managers were so confident against us when he was in charge.

It’s just Ole speak isn’t it. Same playbook, Saying a lot without really saying anything. Theres nothing articulate here about how he’s coaching us, what he wants the team to do etc it’s just “great bunch of lads with loads of talent” stuff. Only thing missing was the “DNA”

Do you reckon Amorim is ever going to say thanks to the fans? Finished 15th, lost a cup final to Spurs, won consecutive games on one occasion the entire time he was here, and Old Trafford still sang his name every week. What a truly unlikeable fella.

I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it.
The seeds Ruben Amorim has planted will only become visible with time.
He’s done the hardest thing you can ask of a manager, and whoever follows him will inherit a far easier job because of it.
Not everyone will see or understand that, but that’s their problem.
