Last week, $CLFD announced a massive partnership that is going completely under the radar This is one of the main reasons why I believe why data centers are placing orders TODAY and skipping the testing phase entirely Currently, data centers are facing a logistics and engineering issue that they are completely unprepared to solve They are literally running out of physical room to deliver power before they run out of actual electricity To feed power to these next gen GPUs, modern data centers have to route electricity through thick copper wires encased in heavy/bulky steel conduit pipes Imagine trying to jam 10x more fiber optic glass into the rack space while also having to run massive metal pipes full of high voltage power to the exact same rack without being able to expand the physical space The fiber and the power cables are literally fighting each other for limited space inside the rack, ceiling, and floors So how does this partnership change $CLFD 's stance? VoltServer’s technology completely removes the need for these big metal pipes, by turning electricity into safe digital pulses (known as FMP) This allows Clearfield to run thousands of watts of power through thin data cables tucked inside the exact same lightweight cassette as their fiber optics By combining VoltServer’s tech with Clearfield's NOVA cassette, data centers can shrink the physical space required for power infrastructure by up to 84% (not a typo) This allows DC's to clear up huge amounts of space to deploy more racks of GPU's per sq ft which means DC's bring in more $$$ This is MASSIVE because it allows Clearfield to now sell NOVA as single "Data + Power" infrastructure product The fact that DC's are skipping this testing phase and driving Clearfield's backlog up 39% is a sign that this product is now in high demand This bypasses the 3 year electrical hardware shortage and lets them deploy high powered AI clusters inside their existing real estate today So not only is Clearfield now allowing data centers to cram more GPUs into their existing floor space, but they are also slashing utility & operational bills by eliminating power waste The economic math is simple: Lower power bills from less energy conversion losses + more physical floor space = more GPU racks generating revenue $CLFD 's NOVA brings in a clear ROI at scale

Just under 2 weeks ago I laid out the game plan for $CLFD publicly Today our calls reached double bagger status with 6 months left and a fresh break out of a 3 year base... Who got in?

I am long Clearfield, Inc. $CLFD Here’s my thesis: I’ve been researching a lot about the expanding importance of fiber optics in the new age data center as we move into the agentic ai era The recent deal between $NVDA & $GLW basically confirmed to me that high performance optical fiber is the foundation for AI infrastructure However... as more & more optical fiber start to be deployed data centers are hitting a physical "density wall" creating a spaghetti of cables that blocks airflow and traps heat, the #1 killer of GPU performance Because AI depends on light traveling through glass, physical management is now widely considered signal management In the current 800G environment, a single bend that is 1mm too sharp can leak enough light to stall an entire AI training cluster In traditional data centers, a rack might require a few dozen fiber connections but in AI clusters, they are pushing toward 10x more fiber per rack to support the massive speeds (800G to 1.6T) required for LLMs DC's can no longer expand capacity by just adding more racks. Instead, they are forced to pack more fiber into their existing footprint without causing a meltdown of tangled glass cables and trapped heat And the #1 thing DC's can't afford to have is MORE HEAT generated Here is why CLFD is uniquely positioned for this problem and why the interconnect layer where Clearfield specializes in will soon be a strategic priority for the entire AI industry For 15 years, Clearfield was a niche player protecting fiber in harsh outdoor environments Now, the AI Data Center is the harsh environment. The fiber density and heat levels inside a 2026 AI rack are so extreme that they require the rugged, modular protection Clearfield perfected for the outdoors Management realized this, which gave them an opportunity to enter the data center space In Jan 2026, they announced their new product “NOVA” which is their pivot to capture the market share of optical fiber density management The NOVA HD Panel is the only cassette based system that can fit 384 LC fiber ports into a 4U space (just 7 inches tall) While also guaranteeing a 0.2dB or less insertion loss (50% better than peers) Reducing insertion loss by 0.2dB can reduce a data center's overall power consumption by 10%, making Clearfield an infrastructure choice for an already power scarce environment For those who don't know, At 800G speeds, high insertion loss causes data errors, forcing AI systems to resend data, which wastes power and slows down training Here's the exciting part... Just a few days ago, the CEO spoke at Needham and she said that the data center community’s "biggest surprise" was recognizing Clearfield not as a newcomer, but as a superior expert in fiber termination and management that they now desperately need When NOVA was announced in Q1 26’ they didn’t expect any revenue at all until 2027 but in their recent Q2 26’ ER, orders already started flooding in Reporting a book to bill ratio of 1.3, backlog growing 39% for “adjacent markets” aka data centers at $31.6M On the call, management noted that data centers are skipping the typical multiyear testing phases because the current infrastructure is literally failing to support the new gen AI chips oh... and Clearfield is also a direct beneficiary of the move toward CPO A major challenge for CPO is that lasers are heat sensitive and fail often if they are buried inside a hot AI chip package The industry is moving toward ELS, placing the lasers at the front of the rack in a separate, hot swappable module Clearfield’s NOVA platform is designed specifically to act as the "standard socket" for these external lasers It provides the high density frame that allows technicians to pull out a failed laser cassette and snap in a new one in seconds without touching the delicate AI chip I am a buyer today because the signal from management is their confidence in their ability to pick up new customers given their expertise in the field + they had earnings already with a solid reaction which is a good signal for me I am anticipating their backlog to pickup at an even more rapid pace now fiber is being deployed at record pace This is an incredibly niche play, but I think their is plenty of upside of this company if they execute properly NFA. I have just went long Harmonic Inc. $HLIT Here’s my thesis: As you may know by now $NVDA recently invested in $NOK to upgrade telecommunication networks to run AI at the edge on cell towers They are using Nokia’s anyRAN software to turn their cell towers into mini data centers to monetize AI This method completely overhauls the need to physically rebuild all of the current physical infrastructure companies like T-mobile already have in place with just a simple software update Why does this matter for Harmonic? Well broadband/cable companies have been left in the dust for the longest due to their network infrastructure being stuck in the 90's where they aren't able to process the massive amounts of data that AI generates At GTC 2026, Comcast and Charter (the 2 biggest broadband companies) confirmed they are moving $NVDA RTX 6000 Blackwell GPUs out of distant data centers and into their local neighborhood hubs They are transforming their networks into a distributed AI Grid You can't just put an NVIDIA GPU in a hub and expect it to work with a 30 year old cable network Harmonic has a monopoly on what's called "vCMTS" which modernizes broadbands network infrastructure with a simple software upgrade just like NOK This means broadband companies like Charter & Comcast will finally be able to monetize AI in business and residential areas using $NVDA GPU's to do things like offer personalized commercials to individual customers using AI at the edge in real time Here is the huge opportunity for Harmonic.. As of 2026, broadband companies have gone into a state of emergency because they are unable to monetize AI like they want so they are going through a MASSIVE CAPEX cycle specifically for 'Network Evolution' Comcast and Charter are spending $22 billion combined over the next few years to build a "Smart Grid." with 2026 being the most aggressive as they aim for over 50% of their capex to be spent to speed up the process This is reflecting in Harmonics book as they now have a record $570M in backlog, up 77% YoY and recorded a 3.5 book to bill ratio in Q4 2025 ALONE 🤯 A $1.2B market cap with a $570M backlog which is probably at $600M+ now since this was announced months ago Underneath the hood you may notice that the numbers look horrendous, however this is because they just sold their old legacy video business to go all in their "Virtualization" high margin SaaS business which is now growing at 33% YoY at a 55% margin showing off some serious operating leverage The TAM for Cable Modem Termination Systems (CMTS) is estimated at $5.18 billion for 2026 with only 15%-20% of the entire global broadband infra virtualized giving them a HUGE runway for growth in the coming years Harmonic is currently only doing $450M in revenue. This means they have only captured less than 10% of their immediate SAM, despite having a monopoly.. However, I expect this to grow even faster because now there are actual government incentives behind this 1st) Starting May 8th, the FCC is starting an initiative called "Delete, Delete, Delete" which is a legal mandate for cable companies to stop wasting billions maintaining 30 year old copper wires & old hardware hubs This is freeing up tens of billions in maintenance CapEx being redirected to upgrading their network 2) The gov is currently handing out $42B in BEAD grants for rural high speed internet. To win these grants, operators have to deploy fast. You can’t build a physical hub in a month, but you can deploy Harmonic’s software in days essentially paying broadband to upgrade their network For the longest the biggest risk was their customer concentration risk but as of May 2026, rest of world revenue grew 33% YoY and now makes up 41% of their business Meaning they are no longer just a USA merchant, they are becoming the global standard for the AI Grid with Comcast & Charter leading the way for the rest of the world to follow suit Lastly, the chart looks absolutely stunning It is clearly inflecting as management is making it clear that they are no longer a boring video business, but a pure play global AI infrastructure enabler Now trading above all monthly moving averages which are starting to curl up and now breaking out of this massive bull flag I really like this name going forward and think the cat comes out of the bag in their next earnings NFA.
