My husband is 76 and still works F/T. WE live in Davidson County. He has private insurance through work, not Medicare. He had a BP of 202/96 the other night. I drove him to the ER. We noticed his insurance ER visit, which used to be $100 copay, are now 15% of the total bill. He was there about 15 hours waiting on a hospital bed to open up. I’m sure the bill will be ruinous. I told him to negotiate it down and pay $25/moor file a medical B/K. I am so sick of working all of our lives to support every moocher who shows up at our door. We’ve always played by the rules. Sold our previous house because of our daughter’s medical bills many years ago. I’m done. Our mayor is a beta cuck. I’m seeing a demographic change. Lots of people who speak no English piling their grocery carts full of stuff. We’re not. Property taxes going up when sales are going down. It’s disgusting.

Beware the empathy exploit. Empathy is good and right when thought through (deep), but can be deadly to civilization when simply stimulus-response (shallow). For example, releasing a repeat violent offender may feel good at first (shallow empathy for the criminal), but it is wrong to do so when that person will go on to hurt or murder innocent victims, as there should be deep empathy for future victims.
