it ain’t freedom.
it ain’t rebellion.
it’s a bunch of limp-wristed nerds playing Monopoly with mummy’s inheritance,
huddled in discord servers circle-jerking over code they don’t understand.
they called it digital cash.
you know, the kind you can use to buy a beer.
but try buying a beer with BTC,
and you’ll die of thirst before the transaction clears.
they turned a sledgehammer into a goddamn bonsai rake.
scaling? nah, let’s cripple the damn thing.
fees higher than your tab at the end of a three-day bender,
and slower than the last piss of a dying drunk.
BTC is the wet dream of technocrats—
not for the people,
not for the poor bastard trying to send five bucks to his ma,
but for hedge fund parasites sniffing each other’s farts in overpriced suits.
they froze it in amber,
called it a feature.
it’s not a living system—it’s a goddamn shrine.
a cult.
and they’re priests in robes of GitHub commits,
chanting about decentralisation
while kissing the arse of every VC in Silicon Valley.
it was supposed to be cash,
but it’s become the banker’s pet.
you don’t use it—you hodl.
you don’t spend it—you worship it.
and the worst part?
they actually believe they’re changing the world.
jesus.
BTC is just Wall Street with a hoodie.
and you,
you’re just another sucker buying into the lie.

@Richmond_FC I’ve never seen an opposition team move the ball so easily from their back-line to their forward-line. No contest whatsoever. Toothless Tigers. #YZEOUT

"Craig planned to lose to get to the higher court and show the evidence he did not want to reveal to the enemy." 🤡
The 5 stages of grief are denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. Is this denial, or bargaining?

@Arthur_van_Pelt @btchudson Lets see if he CSW appeals. My guess is he will if he does - know this Arty- He planned to lose this - why? - to get to the higher court and show the evidence he did not want to reveal to the enemy. oh. If COPA are paid out of genesis block what will you think? @kurtwuckertjr

@digitalnaut I didn't say I was distancing myself from Craig, and I do not promote him as Satoshi. I believe he is Satoshi, and I am entitled to have an unpopular belief.
You care enough to get triggered and comment.

People keep thinking I’m kidding or gaslighting or whatever.
I am genuinely congratulating Jack, COPA and Bird & Bird on their victory.
They took the fight to where Craig asked for it to occur, and they beat him on the terms he requested.
I am disappointed at the outcome, but that was always the risk of taking the fight into the hands of the courts. Of course, I also lament that a Silicon Valley patent alliance now has a foothold to do to bitcoin what we all know patent alliances do best, but that will be a fight bitcoin can start to have at a later time.
I know I’m imperfect, but I always seek to be gracious in victory and defeat. I see very few people as enemies, and I love to compete against worthy challengers.
I have only ever seen BSV (and previously BCH) as a principled resistance against the BTC BIP process, soft forks, social consensus and various small blocker assertions about the nature of bitcoin, and I have been content to stand up for big block bitcoin despite the challenges of being associated with those who also stood for the same things.
I disagreed with Craig about many things, but I nearly always agreed with him on the vision for scaling bitcoin and using it to give the world a useful timestamp server for a sound money set in stone. I have no insights into why things have gone the way they have gone, and my own goals for seeing bitcoin scale remain resolute.
But I only ever wanted to compete in the economy. I find court distasteful, and I detest lawsuits, while respecting Craig’s right to pursuing litigation.
I may never understand why he wanted such a thing given the nature of his evidence, but I’d like to think that chapter is over now.
Of course, many of you have made it resoundingly clear that you hope for my destruction due to my perceived proximity to Craig. And I guess that’s to be expected, but I will continue to be the best I can despite the fact that my ideas are unpopular.
If the truth was a popularity contest, we’d all be in trouble.
Either way, I will be here tomorrow, next week and next year. I will fight for bitcoin. I will mine and build and advocate and help my friends, family and clientele navigate bitcoin because it holds a place in my heart as a tool for truth and freedom.
Be good to each other! 🙏🏻
