Sometimes getting back to the basics is better than forcing Schemes that is not working. Coaches can be stubborn, because we have a tendency to stay with what we know.

The Fever were outcoached. Again. The Dream shut the Fever down in the 2nd half. Caitlin Clark made the WNBA relevant, and the Fever rewarded her with a staff that looks completely overwhelmed the moment a real team adjusts. Imagine if the NBA had treated Michael Jordan like a problem. Imagine if golf had treated Tiger Woods like an inconvenience. Imagine if tennis had tried to diminish Serena Williams. That is what the WNBA and Fever are doing with Caitlin Clark. This is an organization wasting the biggest gift women’s basketball has ever been handed.

Forget it. I’m officially hitting the panic button on the Indiana Fever. There’s no paint presence, no defense, and Lexie has given us more smiles than production all season. Monique is just out there, and Sophie is the only bench player consistently making an impact. Kelsey has been phenomenal, but I’m starting to question whether she and Caitlin can truly coexist long-term. This isn’t on Steph White, it’s on the players. The effort, execution, and consistency just aren’t there. At some point, you have to stop making excuses and start making changes. It’s time to shake things up and move some players around.
