The judge in Zeigler’s case alleging NCAA eligibility rules violate antitrust law & seeking a 5th season of competition has asked for briefing on how TN’s new state law affects his claims.
Definitely seems like a prelim injunction is a possibility.

Zakai Zeigler Update: Judge Crytzer has asked for supplemental briefing on the Zeigler's Tennessee state law claims, including any potential impact of Tennessee's new state law. Given the exceedingly quick timeline (over the weekend!), expect a quick decision as well.

The inconsistent rulings in cases challenging NCAA eligibility rules on antitrust grounds continue.
Today, a North Carolina state court judge denied a prelim injunction request.
Yesterday, a Michigan state court judge granted a TRO.
Federal courts have also gone both ways.
