My 15 year old asked for a record player for Christmas and now a CD player so he can listen to my music and "touch" media. He's multiple times quoted "you will own nothing and be happy" and said it's not true. He wants real things to connect with people in the real world with.

My son asked me hows life today. We listened to early 00s music on CD and about the importance of physical media after watching a funny movie from college. It's scary at times watching him grow up so fast and other times incredible to have him to share the journey with.
