Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

@JohnKasich Yes john, our problems are fixable but we need to make an effort. Building monuments to the president and making war around the world are not helpful.

Some commentary makes it sound like America is fading and China has already won. Baloney. We have real problems, polarization and a decline in character, but freedom makes those problems fixable. China steals, subsidizes and silences dissent. Freedom wins.

@mikepompeo Keep in mind what the USA war mongers are pushing. And remember that a fight with China (or Russia) will bring bombs, missiles and possibly nukes to USA soil. You will get to feel what war really feels like.

Make no mistake: Xi Jinping's statements on Taiwan to President Trump were a threat. We need to be clear-eyed about his mission, and prepared to do the necessary to deter Communist China. President Trump gets that.
