My 2025 live play came to an end yesterday with one final tournament. This means I can wrap up my #PokerWithPurpose. To recap I am donating 25% of all high hand money won this year. Also every tournament I enter, whatever the administration fee is, I will match that in a donation. If I cash, 10% of the winning will also be donated. The combined total was $2866. We round up in this house. 😁 I will be donating $2900 split across the 5 charities listed at the bottom of the post ($580 each). I will continue this in 2026 with some new charities, though my work with @RailBirdWorks will impact the volumn of play I put in. Happy holidays everyone and good luck on the felt. I've lived here almost 10 years now, today was the first day I've made the walk all the way around Lake Scranton. It's about 4 miles door to door. I had a couple of witnesses. Helps that I'm about 100 lbs lighter than the day I moved in. Still working towards my goal one day at a time.

@acrossthefelt12 @WSOP @JRJones_87 The point I'm making is the same person can only tank for 3 minutes a very limited amount of times at WSOPC Prague. Unlike WSOP LV where there isn't a shot clock to be found anywhere and this is a much bigger issue that is yet to be addressed.

They do have a shot clock (look in front of dealer, he calls just before it gets to zero). WSOPC does is 20 seconds pre, 30 seconds every other street, you get 6 extensions per day and they carry over for events that have the clock in play multiple days like the main and high roller.

Yeah I can get behind that, especially if you feel he is extra wide because of the chip stack. Though he was probably going to call your jam anyway. "Too much invested. Something something pot odds." and the sort. So you were doomed from the start. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. 🤣

I’m out about 12 away from bagging so not even close to the bubble. Messed up two hands: Hand 1: KK, I called a 50k river bet on: 5-6-7-4-A against the big blind. That board is straight up nasty for KK. Villain had J8 for the straight. Hand 2: I have about 100k at 4/8/8k level, big stack in late position opens, I flat with KQ. I should just jam. Flop: K-J-7 Villain cbets, I jam, he snaps with K7. Bad play = bust the tourney.

I’m going to voice my concerns to Derby Lane management about this. I absolutely love poker and I also know that without dealers there is no poker. They need to be fairly compensated. If this isn’t resolved I’ll have to stop playing at Derby. I can’t support a poker venue that doesn’t pay their dealers.
