@avidfilm Ian Fleming liked Connery's portrayal so much, he made Bond's father Scottish, and added Connery's charm and swagger into the novels.

Reading the books now, and I think this is wrong. Bond was attractive in the book, but he was also very neurotic, unsure of himself, and cynical. We should let go of Sean Connery and embrace Dalton and Craig.
