That's not surprising, given that it's one of the more programming-adjacent parts of Bubble. That's why I've rewritten the API Connector guide from the ground up. Did you notice this nice little @bubble update? You can now generate a presigned URL for private files. This means you can pass a view-only link to services like OpenAI, without the file needing to be public or converted to base64.
