@Acyn IMHO, the president delivered the remark in jest. He intended it as a pointed reminder to the world of the profound atrocities inflicted upon the United States at Pearl Harbor, along with the prompt and utter response that America delivered in retaliation. 🇺🇸

Selig and Manfred are/were two deeply flawed MLB commissioners, but what does work were the risks they were willing to take. Selig to create the WBC and wild card, Manfred to grow the WBC and make rule changes. It's why we can now debate MLB vs. NBA, and MLB is probably winning.

I'm sure Ken Rosenthal can be great with his colleagues and the connections he needs to do what he does. We've also seen him stir the pot and treat
people disdainfully. All these testimonies from his peers won't sway my opinion of the guy. 👎

Ken Rosenthal is the best teammate I’ve ever had. A fantastic reporter & terrific mentor. I owe so many stories to Ken, who is also a true ally for women. He constantly was checking in when I was pregnant/had a baby. He’s unafraid to investigate powerful men. He’s the best of us.
