This girl added me on Snapchat recently.
We spoke well and she proposed that we meet up to know ourselves better. I agreed to the weekend and told her to choose where she wanted us to meet. She sent a series of restaurants and I told her to pick one. She eventually settled for Slow in VI and I said no problem. (Going out for dinner is a normal thing to me).
Then came Friday, a day before we were supposed to meet.
She texted me saying I would need to pay for her dress, makeup, ride, nails, lashes, pedicure, and other miscellaneous things.
So I asked how much.
She said about ₦200k.
That was our last conversation.
In my mind, I was like:
I didn’t even propose the outing. I only agreed to it. Paying for the dinner wasn’t even a problem, but sending that kind of message a day before we were supposed to meet is crazy to me.
