WARREN BUFFETT CAN CLEAR AMERICA'S DEBT IN 5 MINUTES
In 2011 Buffett told CNBC:
"I could end the deficit in five minutes. Pass a law that any time the deficit exceeds 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election"
His point: Politicians care about one thing above everything else - keeping their seat
If their political survival is directly tied to fiscal discipline, they stop spending money they don't have
Without complex reform or new agencies, just one rule that makes the consequence personal and immediate
In 2011 the deficit was $1.3 TRILLION and people called it a crisis
In 2026 it's $2 TRILLION, total debt is $39 TRILLION, and interest payments alone hit $1 TRILLION this year (more than the entire defense budget)
Japan is selling U.S. Treasuries to defend the yen
China has cut its Treasury holdings by half, buying gold instead
Every member of Congress who could have passed that law chose not to, because it would cost them their seat and MONEY
So they raised the debt ceiling, slept well, and got re-elected
Now the people who understand money best are quietly positioning for the worst
Powell said in March the debt path "will not end well"
Buffett is sitting on $400 BILLION buying nothing
Buffett came up with the solution in 5 minutes in 2011
Congress had 14 years
They chose $39 TRILLION in debt and generation of poor

@TedPillows What about the bond funds? Looking to park some money into them

Why would I buy stocks at all-time highs when billionaires are dumping them?
Seriously.
The S&P 500 is euphoric right now, and retail investors are acting like risk no longer exists.
Meanwhile:
• Insiders are selling
• Hedge funds are hedging
• Buffett is hoarding $380B cash
But somehow the average person thinks THIS is the safest time to go all in?
This market offers terrible risk/reward.
The upside from here is limited.
The downside is massive.
Smart investing is buying fear.
Not buying after everyone already got rich.
I loaded up in 2022 when people were panicking.
I loaded up again in 2025.
Right now, I’m waiting.
Because cash is a position too.
And I have a BIG short position on $BTC that I shared with my X subscribers.
The correction will come fast, and most people will pretend nobody saw it coming.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

#Pirates LHP Joe La Sorsa is a name generating buzz with an upward mobility clause at the end of spring training, after a successful stint for Team Italy.
La Sorsa pitched in 4 of 6 games for Italy, striking out MLB stars like Kyle Schwarber and Jarren Duran.
La Sorsa pitched in 46 MLB Games from 2023-25 with Rays, Nationals, and Reds.

I respect Noah’s take on this, but I think they could make this work.
Their best offensive lineup may be their worst defensive lineup, but they’ve guaranteed that the top 6 in the lineup will be respectable every night.
Here are some lineup scenarios I quickly threw together:

Noah Hiles@_NoahHiles
The offense is improved. But I don’t like the current roster construction. My biggest issue is that they no longer have the DH spot open. There was a lot of talk about how that would be available to keep guys fresh, dudes like O’Hearn, Lowe and Reynolds who they’ll need throughout the grind of a long season. That’s no longer an option now. You’ve made their workloads more difficult through acquiring Ozuna.

I had it first. I have been on Marcel Ozuna to the #Pirates since they intially made contact. So so far Pirates fans have disparaged me for saying: no Okada, no Suarez, no Framber. They all said I was full of shit. Then I report Ozuna and these simpletons are silent.

Growing followership on X is hard, and it takes too much time. Can’t I just throw money at it?
Sure, why not? We’re running a contest this month -- all it takes to enter is to follow my account @GMBCSuperfan and share/repost this photo. Easy peasy.
One lucky schlub will win a $100 gift card to Pittsburgh Clothing Co, which graciously agreed to accept my money and receive this free promotion. No, seriously, they are awesome and real fans of the Buccos. Glad to support them.
Don’t want to follow my account or shill this contest by sharing? Gee, selfish much? If you simply can’t bear it, you can also participate by emailing me at gmbcsuperfan@gmail.com. Please, no nudes.
Let’s keep it clean - one submission per person. Help me get over 1,000 followers people. This is the task. #WinterofBen

A large commitment for Bichette from one of the few teams around the league that can and will throw that kind of commitment out there.. grossly outbid by the money Mets. Again, one of the few teams that are willing to spend like this just got bullied!! This isn’t a small market / cheap ownership team.. this is the Philadelphia Phillies we are talking about.
Bob Nightengale@BNightengale
The Phillies had agreed to Bo Bichette’s request for a 7-year, $200 million deal last night and believed they would sign him until the Mets swooped in with their 3-year, $126 million offer after losing out in in the Kyle Tucker sweepstakes.
