2025 changed everything.
I moved to SF, met incredible founders, and turned Buddi from an MVP into a real product with capital and customers behind it. It was a year of hard calls and massive growth.
I also tried my hand at acting (video below).
Looking back, 2025 feels like the trailer.

Off-desk teams(hospitals, in-person sales, manufacturing etc) deserve powerful tools, and Buddi is built for them.

I don't see always listening devices catching on with consumers anytime soon based on my research. Those who have them get value out of them, they tell me, but this is a hard form to get people to like. And even though I have several I don't often remember to put them on and don't get enough out of them.
And they sure do bring out hatred of the future like no other.

the anti-friend sentiment is hitting vitriolic levels. have spoken to a few of the advertisement cleaner guys: they are coming every day and *still* have no way to keep up with the vandalism. companions have been popular form factor since the days of Replika and continue to be popular as chatbots, but as soon as you veer into always-listening **hardware**, it's clear consumers aren't there yet. my opinion is that in order for these devices to succeed, they need to enter through a 'gateway drug' like glasses (meta/raybans) or watches (Amazon/bee) that people are already familiar with vs. an entirely new form factor like friend/humane/rabbit.

@bhand_21 @its_me_oki i think having a notebook or taking notes on a google doc / notetaking app would help a lot. my biggest surge of improvement came as a result of me writing down my vod review notes and concepts on mental/gameplay
