Yesterday, I interviewed a candidate for a Graphics Design role. No fancy degree. No big-name company on his CV. But his portfolio? Clean. Intentional. Story-driven. I asked him to redesign a basic flyer. In 15 minutes, he didn’t just design… He asked:

Something really nice happened to us last week Thursday on our way from jaji to our various unit, it was a convoy movement of almost 20 buses and enough escorts , a man noticed that one of our bus was making a cracking sound around the front tire and he took it upon himself to follow us till we get to lokoja town cause it’s late already and there’s no place we could get a mechanic ,but this God sent stopped us and asked us to park in front of a bank and tell us that he’s been following us from Abaji and he noticed that our crankshaft is bad ,went straight to the ATM to withdrew money , called his mechanic to fix our vehicle for us,get us cabin biscuits and bread to eat that night , what he did that really moved us all was him thanking us of for service …. Omo at that moment I felt proud of putting on this uniform that at last somebody finally knows our worth and what we’ve sacrificed…. I pray you see this sir, These are my prayers for you… You’ll never lack any good thing in this life , wherever your mates are struggling God will it make easy for you, untimely death will never be your portion sir , your children will succeed in your presence sir , you won’t have any reason to cry over them … that night you might think it’s only we that’s inside that bus you fed but it’s actually the whole NA/Armed forces you feed sir…. Thank you once again sir..

I have read about the court-ordered detention of an individual known as B-Lord, and I must say this clearly that no one should celebrate the incarceration of any person under the color of law. I have reached out to my astute rights lawyer, Marshal D F Abubakar, urging him to disengage from the process. We must all agree that sending B-Lord to prison is not a victory for legal brilliance or advocacy. Rather, it risks emboldening a system of oppression that weaponizes the law against citizens. Justice must never be reduced to punishment for its own sake. I will work to ensure this case is discontinued and B-Lord is released without further delay.

I have postponed my trip to Iperu, Ogun State. My first duty at this moment is to stand with the people of Plateau. I will be in Jos to commiserate with families who have lost loved ones and to reaffirm that those who seek to spread fear will not prevail. We will continue to strengthen our security response and ensure that justice is done. From Plateau, I will proceed to Lagos to observe Good Friday, and then continue with scheduled engagements in Ogun, Lagos, and Bayelsa focused on infrastructure, trade, and economic growth. In moments of grief, we must stand together. In moments of progress, we must keep building. The work continues. Nigeria First. Bola Ahmed Tinubu President

OPERATION HADIN KAI TROOPS FOIL MASS ABDUCTION, RESCUE OVER 150 CIVILIANS AHEAD OF EASTER PERIOD Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have once again demonstrated operational dominance and unwavering commitment to the protection of civilians by foiling a planned mass abduction by Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Sector 2. The incident occurred at about 1450 hours on 30 March 2026, when troops under Sector 2 deployed at Dutse Kura came under attack while escorting civilians along the Buratai–Kamuya axis. While decisively engaging the terrorists, surveillance assets identified the insurgents attempting to abduct a large number of civilians including men, women and children using about 17 vehicles into the bush. In a swift and coordinated response, the Quick Response Force reinforced the location, repelled the attack and launched a pursuit towards the Mangari area, forcing the terrorists to abandon all abducted civilians and vehicles. All rescued civilians, estimated at over 150, were safely recovered and moved to Buratai for onward movement to reunite with their families. During the pursuit, troops encountered an improvised explosive device along the Bula Zarma–Mangari axis, resulting in five personnel sustaining severe injuries. The wounded personnel were promptly evacuated for specialist medical care. The sacrifice of the gallant troops underscores the resolve of OPHK to deny terrorists freedom of action and protect vulnerable populations across the Theatre. This successful operation highlights the high level of vigilance, rapid response capability and effective presence posture of OPHK forces across the North East, particularly as the Easter period approaches. It further reassures the populace of the military’s commitment to stabilisation efforts, protection of civilians, and sustained offensive pressure on terrorist elements. This same @PeterObi supported the Naira redesign,an exercise that disrupted livelihoods, shut down businesses, and left many Nigerians struggling. Yet, many people seem to forget so quickly. Peter Obi is not an outsider,he is part of the establishment. His policies are not fundamentally different from those of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, or Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, they all align with similar neoliberal ideas and policies . Nigerians deserve to look beyond personalities and start questioning policies.@PeterObi the gbajue of our time.

No ASUU strike NELFUND GRANTS for student ventures Government has done nothing for the common man.
Dr. Tunji Alausa@DrTunjiAlausa

Today, I am incredibly proud. After an intense and inspiring S-VCG Bootcamp, we awarded ₦2.2 billion in grants to 45 outstanding student ventures — young Nigerians turning bold ideas into real solutions. What began with over 30,000 applications from 404 tertiary institutions came down to 65 finalists, and today 45 innovators emerged as winners, representing institutions across Nigeria. The winners come from federal, state, and private universities, with the majority from public institutions — proof that talent and innovation exist in every corner of our country. A moment that stood out for me was seeing 8 winners from the University of Lagos, many of whom came through our Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Business Incubation Certification (EIBIC) programme — a tried-and-tested pathway we are building to move students from ideas to real ventures. That is exactly the vision behind EIBIC: not just teaching entrepreneurship, but building founders, innovators, and builders. The Student Venture Capital Grant is more than funding — it is belief in the next generation. My sincere thanks to our panel of evaluators and judges, whose expertise and careful assessment helped identify these outstanding ventures. I am also deeply grateful to our partners, @BOINigeria, Afara Initiative and Elsie Attafuah of UNDP, for their support in making this programme a success. To our 45 winners — congratulations. To the 65 finalists — you have already shown what the future of Nigeria looks like. Nigeria’s next generation of innovators is already here — and they are just getting started. 🚀 #SVCGJourney #IdeasToImpact #FutureFoundersNG #StudentInnovators #BuildInNigeria

@StatiSense Too late, many factors that played out in the last election has been put in place. Religion sentiment won't matter much, one region gaslighting others to vote their own won't work and party loyalist won't be angry because there will be money to share this time.

It’s news worthy of spreading. This is not even a gig, it’s just random news, one that any sensible Nigerian should be happy about and spread willingly. But you people are stuck in your hatred for him and anything against your political leanings, that you cannot reason and think objectively anymore. A trust fund is being created for our soldiers, the ones risking their lives on a duly basis to keep us safe. The president decided to donate all his salary as seed fund, leading by example. But as usual, you guys cannot reason beyond political shenanigans to see how great this is. Everything is not about politics. Tinubu will come and go, Nigeria will remain, the funding will remain, the soldiers will benefit, Nigeria will benefit. You’d have to be a fool to not consider this a good thing.
