What a fabulous afternoon of sporting fun 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Thank you to all of our parents and carers who came to support our wonderfully talented Bude Junior children 🙌🏻 Thank you also to our most marvellous PTA who provided much needed refreshments 🥤

What an incredible day out on Bodmin Moor for a selection of our Year 5 children on Friday! This journey was not only about enjoying nature and refining geography skills but also about developing teamwork and building grit. #GreatCornishOutdoors

A fantastic achievement for us here at Bude Juniors - we have been awarded the Silver School Games Mark award for our commitment and engagement in the School Games for 2023/24 🎾⚽️🏑

Year 5 have had the most fabulous day at The Eden Project 🌴🌼 We took part in a workshop where we learnt all about food miles, we explored the Mediterranean biome & the Rainforest biome 🌵🌾 We saw such a range of produce growing in the biomes; 🍍, 🍌 and so much more!

A little end of SATs treat for our wonderful Year 6 pupils 🎳 A big thank you to our PTA who funded the bowling trip ☺️

Our whole school took part in a speed bounce challenge today as part of Comic Relief celebrations ☺️ #bouncebouncebounce

Today, Crackington (Year 5) joined a team of engineers and environmentalists and supported with yogurt painting on the new Bude flood defense wall. The painting of the yoghurt will encourage the growth bacteria and funghi 🦠 🍄

Year 5 started a poetry unit today. We analysed the features, selected interesting vocabulary for our working wall and then had a go at learning parts and performing them to the class ☺️

Our school was filled with the stuff of awe and wonder on World Book Day this year 🌎 📖 We are all so proud of the incredible Story Jars our children so creatively, thoughtfully and ingeniously crafted and constructed ✨

Super proud of the diary entries written by Crackington this week, we have been using the book ‘Shackleton’s Journey’ as our stimulus linking to our Polar Regions project 📖 Well done Crackington 👏

Year 5 have been learning all about classification and the work of Carl Linnaeus. Yesterday, we collected samples from our local environment and sorted these using a range of criteria 🌱🌿🍀
