Damit liegt die Zahl so hoch wie zuletzt im dritten Quartal 2005. Besonders hart trifft es Baugewerbe und Handel, auch in Bayern, Baden-Württemberg und Nordrhein-Westfalen wurden regionale Höchstwerte gemessen. Alarmzeichen: Selbst im Vergleich zur Finanzkrise 2009 liegen die Zahlen nun höher. Allein im März lagen die Insolvenzen 71 Prozent über einem durchschnittlichen März der Jahre 2016 bis 2019. Das IWH sieht auch für das kommende Quartal kaum Anlass zur Entwarnung und rechnet weiter mit einem gefährlich hohen Niveau. Wenn selbst kleinere Unternehmen nun massenhaft kippen, ist das kein Ausrutscher mehr, sondern offener wirtschaftlicher Zerfall. Vielen Dank für den wichtigen Hinweis!
