Umamusume starting out with a flat 2000m dirt CM for Grandlive was an outrageously bad idea, why would Cygames throw us into the fire like this?
However, It honestly gives me hope for this scenario since every other CM will be should be MUCH less frustrating to build for!

@WhatTheNeuro @401kgsw Xoguris can't reliably speed carry over and acceleration leak into late race in Arima Kinen. Triple 7s proc about 56m into late race.

@401kgsw This is coming from someone not building XOguri for CM17 though, arima kinen may feel worse to anyone building xoguri for CM17.

@401kgsw Arima Kinen will be MUCH better. Its only 2500m with 300m of downhill so stam requirements won't be THAT much worse than CM17. Also the fact that its a turf race lets you easily run many umas with inbuilt gold recoveries which will be MUCH nicer than options available for CM17.

@Emileion My experience with the scenario has honestly been repulsive so far. I might be coping, but perhaps the scenario won't feel as bad when building for literally any other track than CM17 which evil.

I feel bad for being so negative about Umamusume this week. At its best I have LOVED playing uma so much! But every day I play Grandlive I feel worse, I am not having fun.
CM prep is how I spend 95% of my time in uma. I should skip CM17, farming for better parents may help me.

Last week I won global’s sprint CM with Haru Urara, this week I won JP’s 3600 meter Long CM with Stay Gold. This is my 2nd JP open league CM victory since starting this account last December. This is fun ngl

@ProgDirectorate It be like that. Its hard to be specific on twitter, but I dont outright HATE grandlive. I am more or less expressing disappointment that I do not enjoy it as mush as I had hoped I would, especially coming off of Trackblazer.

My complaint is entirely contained to building for pvp/CM. You have to take advantage of Grandlives higher speed cap to stay competitive. If I am just playing to read a new story, than I would go back to Unity!

@msthirdplace I am somewhat happy it was a sprint race because 564 debuffers were not really out in full force in the way you might expect from miles/mediums from this point forward.

unity 2.0 could have been fun if it was mile or medium cm but they had to do a sprint cm where midleg from decent cards was lackluster so they had people borrowing bakushin guts for the gold and potential sprint corners hint for midleg (theres no midleg straight)

@Ayano_bestgirl2 MLB Tachyon just makes your high rolls higher, the scenario is more than playable without her. Playing without LH on the other hand is asking to be miserable. LH does not need to be MLB since the qualities that make Grandlive playable are present at 0lb.

@hmson7i The actual moment to moment gameplay of MANT was great! What really bothered me about that scenario above all else is how much it punishes certain umas that have bad natural mile/medium aptitudes.

@buffed_puff Not even gonna lie I was having this same opinion like the first few days when GL came out purely because I haven't really learned how this scenario works yet, now that I do I wouldn't say this is the best scenario in global YET but I think GL is actually really fun
