my fav thing to do is say things like “thanks for what you do” or “handsome AND heroes???” to firefighters chilling outside their station. One time they invited me to sit in the truck and i thought it was going to be like a “all holes filled” thing but they were gentlemen

I did this once as a small child. I wanted to extend the lifespan of the butterfly by removing its wings to make it a caterpillar. I was wracked by guilt after my parents explained the futility of my efforts.
