Babies are vulnerable with their mental health when their caregivers are struggling. Covid-19 has created greater struggles and widened existing inequalities for parents & infants. Many families are vulnerable & in desperate need of support. #IMHAW2022 youtube.com/watch?v=WL0PHG…

When parents ‘wonder’what their babies are thinking & feeling it helps them to respond accurately to their baby’s emotional needs. When babies are understood by their parents this helps babies to regulate their emotions, feel soothed and begin to understand themselves! #IMHAW2022

Infant Mental Health is simply the start of where our mental health begins. It is vital that infant mental health is looked after during the @first1001days. Infants develop good mental health when they have strong bonds & secure relationships with their caregivers #IMHAW2022

I am hoping the other 3% of professionals stated ‘early relationships are very very important’ 😂 Joking aside… it’s amazing that this percent is so high the message is definitely getting through! Can’t wait to read the full report @ParentInfantFdn
Parent-Infant Foundation@ParentInfantFdn

Tomorrow we will be publishing new research revealing widespread recognition of the importance of early relationships in a child’s life amongst teachers, early years professionals and the public. Here is a sneak peek into what we found. Check back tomorrow for the full report.
