The American Dream isn't dead. It's blocked. Build the Dream is fighting to unblock it.

We’ve all experienced the Zillow Doomscroll loop. It's a man-made problem, caused by government. The good news, the American Dream isn’t dead, it’s just being blocked. That's what we are building: a movement to unblock the Dream.

A city councilman in Georgia thinks he knows better than the builder whose whole livelihood depends on getting it right. Ayn Rand saw this coming. But we're not doomed — states are already fixing it. Share this if you agree. #LandLiberty #HousingCrisis #PropertyRights

One area where NH is leading the country isn't the best news. Right now, we have the greatest percentage of people in the nation who are priced out of new home (83%). It's time to expand our housing supply so that more people can afford to #LiveFreeOrDie.

This approach is comforting to the conservative mind but it's a false conclusion. Demand of course matters. But Trumps CEA report is clear: the real crisis is the century-old 'bureaucrat tax' adding $100 k+ per home. It's Borders + building, not one or the other!

@GregMooreNH Nope we are full. Deport illegals and refugees problem solved.

The life of a millennial: - Graduated straight into a recession - “Entry level” jobs required years of experience - Pensions replaced by the 401k - Promoted at work meant a 2% raise & 200% more responsibility - finally felt stable… then a pandemic hit - Highest inflation in 50 years deleted pay raises - home prices doubled, renting became permanent - Childcare costs feels like another rent - Juggling aging parents, young kids, burnout from work & the cost to live - AI causing mass layoffs during peak earning years

A builder risked his own money to put homes on an empty lot. The city said no. Here's why that keeps your rent high. The builder has to get it right — or he goes broke. If the councilman is wrong, nothing happens to him. We're letting the wrong person decide. #HousingCrisis #LandLiberty #ZoningReform

A builder found 13 empty acres right next to jobs and retail in Georgia. He wanted to put homes there — no government money, no subsidies. A city board said no. That empty lot is why your rent is high and your commute is long.

Well let me be clear, I'm not endorsing a supreme court case by saying that if the government is going to collect taxes and claim monopoly rights over infrastructure, it has a duty to the taxpayers to provide those services justly.

Heads Up: The Right Has A Housing Problem A few on the right spent the weekend attacking MT's leading property rights organization — for a federal housing subsidy project they had nothing to do with. If we can't tell conservative friend from foe, we will lose and deserve it.

@ScottC20012 @zwinchester5 Are you interpreting my point here as an endorsement of the Supreme Court decision or criticizing me for what I didn't talk about?

@buildthedream @zwinchester5 And yet, discussing water rights, you overlook the decision last year by the MT Supreme Court, effectively allowing DNRC to seize 25% of the equipment and rights of a farm group b/c they paid for the privilege of using state land as part of their operation
