My builder timeline, 10 years: 2016 👷 Got hired as a full-time developer. 2018 🚀 Co-founded Adeocode with @iamdanimali Six fig. I thought that was it. We had cracked it. 2020 💀 COVID hit. We hadn't cracked anything. Bad client mix, wrong pricing model. Agency folded. I went back to a full-time job :(. 2021-2022 🔧 Two years of rebuilding. 2023 🐙 Founded Oktopeak. Seven people, all in-house, no subcontractors. 2024 🤝 Danilo back in the picture. Same partnership, completely different playbook. We knew what not to do. That turns out to be worth a lot. 2026 . Back to six figures. Four developers. One internal SaaS product crossing 5-fig ARR. Clients finding us through AI search, not cold outreach. No Upwork. No chasing. Survive the AI wave. Stay relevant. What’s one habit outside of work… that improved your results the most?

Omg X is full of builders. I found solid tips for about 15 mins of scrolling. Do that on LinkedIn and you’ll end up a little bit dumber than before.

GPT-5.4 is great at coding, knowledge work, computer use, etc, and it's nice to see how much people are enjoying it. But it's also my favorite model to talk to! We have missed the mark on model personality for awhile, so it feels extra good to be moving in the right direction.
