sure, many freelancers receive in USDT if they are in the crypto/web3 space. I don't think it was transferrable then or now. I have worked in the crypto/web3 space and USDT or stablecoin, its crypto in the eyes of the gov. Maybe that will change soon. My solution was to just get paid in Fiat lol, use payoneer and get it to Nepal. Get paid in USDT if you want to trade in DEXs but don't expect to bring it to Nepal from a legal channel.

I don't use PayPal, its not supported as you know. I am freelancer and I work remotely too. If you're a freelancer, let's say on Upwork/Toptal, then you can directly connect your local bank account there and withdraw from there. idk what you use but most freelancer sites support local bank withdrawal + payoneer / wise so can use that too (ofc have legit docs to verify your account or else you'll get fucked). Then from payoneer / wise (I prefer payoneer), withdraw to your local bank, its not that hard. It takes a couple of days and some fees but it will come through. Never ever had any issues. If banks ask for source then just present your source/docs.
