@ITibasiima I know the youngest boy in our daughter's class and the daily sympathy of 'he is the youngest!' there is no trophy for being the youngest especially when struggling through concepts others are cruising through!

Parents, from a purely educationist point of view, stop rushing your children through school. A child 11 years will struggle with high school, 17 years with Uni. It will come back to you! Why? They will be much more tired than they should be and the crises will begin!

16/52 My wife and I learnt and are still learning about what we call Intentional Parenting. We generally agree on how our daughter is raised. We made the choice to be involved in her life, make her our friend, and be firm and gentle with her. Every parent must learn this!

@ITibasiima I love the fact that even after disciplining her the best way we know how, she still remains our friend. The confidence she has in our love for her that even when we disagree, she doesn't coil. The hardest part was reading the KJV at 5 years 😀, glad it gave her a good grounding

@ITibasiima On Sunday, after listening to an encouraging sermon on the gentle love of God, I sat on a boda and relayed the sermon to the boda rider, with a lot of excitement thinking I was encouraging a soul. The boda guy almost convinced me I was pining for a God who had pre-chosen His own

There's nothing wrong with us questioning our faith. Sometimes, life beats us up so much it feels like even the faith we've held on to makes no sense. The trouble is if we don't face up to our reality and work along hope that at the end, it still is well.

being a presenter on sanyu fm must be one of the easiest jobs in kampala. play recorded adverts for 30 minutes, read adverts for 25 minutes, play two songs and the hour is done. no need to make up fictional love/family stories like other radio stations
