Lovely day. So far, I've dressed another D'Orc reprint cover and lettered a 12-page Minor Threats story. I'm about to do a final pass on the cover of Secret Project 3. After that, I'll reassess today's priorities. Listening to Big Wreck in the studio.

I will never understand in this age of ultra short attention spans why artists / labels promote and start press for new albums many months before people can actually buy the product. Making the day people can actually get the album an afterthought. Often resulting in the album gone after its first week. Half the album is usually released as singles already, all the press happened, actual release becomes a non event.

Hi, I'm the guy who walks the big white dog past your house 3-4 times a day. We live about a block and a half up the road. I don't know any of you, and we've been in that house since 94. I'd like to be able to tell your kids to get off my lawn by name. I'd like to know if you're quietly aging toward a nursing home in an empty house and the kids don't call anymore. I thought that maybe this summer we could do neighborhood barbeque potlucks, if the people with grills are open, we could "bring your own meat" dealie and (if the guy on the corner plays) we could circle the grills as if they were wagons.
