Last night we lost our Scully, the best girl there ever was. I used to jokingly tell her that she was just a baby puppy, though she was nearly 12, but I really feel like she was since our time with her was so horribly short. She’s the best pup I’ve ever had and there’s a hole in my heart that will be forever empty. I love you my sweet, perfect Scully 💙

That’s a wrap on my last Conference & Trade Show as a GCSAA staff member. Bittersweet doesn’t quite cover it—but my heart is so very full. The kind words, the memories, and all the hugs (you know I love my hugs!) meant more than I can ever express. It has been one of the greatest honors of my career to serve the members (my family) of Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. As of next week, I’ll have just four weeks left, and I plan to treasure every single day. You’ll still see me next year at CTS—I’ll be back as a volunteer for the FFA event, the National Turfgrass Science Invitational (And yes… we will need volunteers. Hint hint 😉) Here's to another 100 years! My love and hugs to you all. Always.

The confirmation came from Greg Biffles friend, Garrett Mitchell (AKA Cleetus McFarland) who says they were on the way to see him. Please pray, this is horrible.

It is with a heavy heart I share the news that it has been confirmed that Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina Biffle, his 14-year-old daughter Emma, and his 5-year-old son Ryder, have passed on from this earth and into the glory of God.

It’s been a rough morning. Woke up this morning and walked out to my truck to find my goodest boy laying in his favorite spot, but he was gone. Diesel has kept me and my family safe from every garbage truck, UPS, FedEx, and pizza delivery driver for the last 12 years. Hardest grave I’ve ever dug. I’m not ok.

After experiencing some chest pain on a bike ride, I ended up in the ER. I have several blockages that will require by-pass surgery Thursday morning. I’m at total peace, trusting the Lord’s beneficent providence. However, I appreciate everyone’s prayers!
