i do think it’s important for people to recognise mike is not queer in canon when discussing his character - it often feels out of touch when they claim hate for mike is affecting gay men when there’s a canon gay man in the show who’s hate is all based in homophobia

author writes ongoing fic, tags a specific t/b dynamic, decides they want to change it up mid-way in the story, some readers are not thrilled cause this isnt the tags they signed up for, author gets upset cause they were told some readers are not happy, tale as old as time 💀

its so easy to make your timeline suit you. writers, just tag your fics properly so people can include or exclude the top bottom tags in your fics, and make sure people are aware what content theyre reading. its so simple to avoid content you dont like
